Yeonggwang-gun Selects Expo Mascots 'Momo·Titi'... Promotion Begins
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jeon Seong] Yeonggwang-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim Jun-seong) has started promotional activities using the new characters ‘Momo’ and ‘Titi’ as mascots for the e-Mobility Expo, which will be held at Sportium from October 28 to November 1.
According to Yeonggwang-gun on the 10th, the character development began last year, and after a preference survey, the character design was finalized, and this year the character names were decided as ‘Momo’ and ‘Titi’.
‘Momo’ combines the ‘Mo’ from mobility and the first letter of the word ‘move,’ which means movement, while ‘Titi’ combines the ‘Ti’ from mobility and ‘technology,’ symbolizing the infinite possibilities of mobility as a means of transportation and the innovation of technology.
The completed expo mascots will be actively used in future expo promotional plans, poster images, and various promotional material drafts.
In particular, the production of character costumes to maximize the effectiveness of promotional booths at major events inside and outside the region and to increase visitor interest is expected to serve as a catalyst for the county’s active expo promotional activities.
