According to the Busan Coast Guard, at around 6:30 PM on the 9th, Mr. A (40, male) rented an air tank for marine sports and entered the water alone at Gamji Beach in Yeongdo wearing diving equipment. However, when he did not resurface, the marine sports shop owner reported it to the Yeongdo Police Station at 8:46 PM.
