‘Boseong Mall’ Launches Up to 20% Discount on Green Tea and Kiwi Sales
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Yong-chul] Boseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 7th that it will sell Boseong green tea and kiwis, which are effective in preventing the novel coronavirus, at a discount of up to 20% throughout February.
This special discount event will be held at the Boseong Mall, an online direct transaction market for excellent agricultural and specialty products from Boseong.
The main items include Boseong green tea products and Boseong kiwis, discounted from 10% up to 20%. New members will receive 5,000 won in reward points, 5% purchase points, and an additional 1,000 won reward points for writing product reviews and comments.
Kim Cheol-woo, the governor of Boseong-gun, said, “We planned this discount event so that the entire nation can enjoy green tea and kiwis, whose sales have surged recently due to their known benefits in preventing the novel coronavirus, without financial burden.”
Meanwhile, according to research from Harvard Medical School, continuous consumption of green tea for more than three months is known to reduce respiratory diseases and influenza by more than 30%. Kiwis are rich in vitamin C, dietary fiber, calcium, and magnesium, making them effective in preventing colds, viruses, and other diseases.
