Exchange Donates Masks and Hygiene Supplies to Vulnerable Children
[Asia Economy Reporter Song Hwajeong] Korea Exchange announced on the 7th that it has donated 30,000 masks and personal hygiene items such as hand sanitizers for 1,450 vulnerable children, including those at local children's centers and single-parent family children, to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (Wuhan pneumonia) in Korea.
This donation was carried out as part of the Exchange's emergency relief project to help vulnerable children, who may be relatively susceptible to the disease due to the recent spread of the novel coronavirus in Korea, live in a cleaner environment and prepare for infection.
The beneficiaries include 1,050 children using 35 KRX local children's centers established and supported by the Exchange since 2014, 100 single-parent family children supported monthly by Exchange employees, and about 300 children in group homes in the Busan area, totaling 1,450 vulnerable children.

The Exchange will continue to monitor the current situation and carry out ongoing support activities to help prevent the spread of infection and assist those in difficult circumstances in our society."
