[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Yeon-ju] Oh Jong-hyuk (37), a singer and musical actor formerly of the group Click-B, will get married this May.
According to his agency DSP Media on the 5th, Oh Jong-hyuk will marry his non-celebrity girlfriend in May. Oh Jong-hyuk had revealed his relationship on a variety show last November.
On the same day, Oh Jong-hyuk also posted a handwritten letter on his fan cafe to announce his marriage.
Oh Jong-hyuk said, "'I'm getting married!' I wanted to shout this and receive congratulations directly, but unintentionally, you heard the news first through articles," expressing his apologies to his fans.
He continued, "I planned to tell you first at the February meeting. That was the proper etiquette and order, but I was also surprised and upset. I sincerely apologize to those of you who were more disappointed and upset than I was."
He introduced his girlfriend, saying, "I had thought about getting married before turning forty, but it ended up happening just before I turned forty. She is a friend who trusts me, makes me feel comfortable, and I am confident that we can build a good life together."
He added, "Rather than saying more, I will show you how well we live. Please support us."
