View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Son Sun-hee] President Moon Jae-in visited a public health center on the 5th to inspect quarantine measures and encourage officials in relation to the spreading novel coronavirus infection (Wuhan pneumonia).
President Moon visited the Seongdong-gu Public Health Center in Seoul at around 10:30 a.m. that day. This was his second visit to a frontline medical site since the National Medical Center on the 28th of last month.
At the Seongdong-gu Public Health Center, President Moon received a briefing on community quarantine measures from Jung Won-oh, Mayor of Seongdong-gu, and Kim Kyung-hee, Director of the Public Health Center. He also encouraged the officials working on site and listened to their difficulties. Above all, he urged them to make every effort to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus.
According to the Blue House, Seongdong-gu operates the only screening clinic with negative pressure facilities among Seoul's public health centers.
