Vietnam Reports 2 Additional Confirmed Cases of Novel Coronavirus... Total 10 Cases
[Asia Economy Reporter Koo Chae-eun] The number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection in Vietnam has increased by 2, bringing the total to 10.
On the 4th, the Vietnamese Ministry of Health announced that among 8 Vietnamese workers who received training for two months in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China, and entered the country on the 17th of last month, one more was confirmed to be infected with the novel coronavirus.
Additionally, one family member of four colleagues already confirmed to be infected was also diagnosed positive. As a result, the cumulative number of patients has risen to 10.
The Vietnamese authorities are isolating the remaining 3 uninfected workers and their families for detailed testing. Five company employees who had contact with them have also been quarantined at home.
