According to local media and foreign news on the 4th, the Singapore Ministry of Health announced that six additional confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus were reported that day. As a result, the total number of confirmed patients with the novel coronavirus infection in Singapore has increased to 24.
Singapore authorities stated that among the six additional confirmed cases, four had never visited Wuhan, the epicenter of the novel coronavirus, mentioning that this is the first case of human-to-human transmission within Singapore.

The Ministry of Health also announced that two of the 92 Singaporeans who returned from Wuhan, China on a chartered flight on the 30th of last month were confirmed to have the novel coronavirus on the same day.
