According to the Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency Highway Patrol on the 4th, at around 9:29 a.m. that day, driver A (75) who was driving a tourist bus at the 8.6 km point in the Songdo direction of Incheon Bridge in Unseo-dong, Jung-gu, Incheon, suddenly lost consciousness and collapsed.
A was transported to a nearby hospital by the 119 emergency medical team dispatched after a report from Korean guide B (46), but he died.
At the time of the accident, the bus was traveling in the first lane, and when A suddenly lost consciousness and collapsed, B, who was riding together, pressed the vehicle brake, causing the bus to hit the central guardrail and come to a stop.
It was also confirmed that the 17 Taiwanese tourists on the bus were not injured.
