Choi Young-ho Preliminary Candidate Decides on Minimal Operation Equivalent to Election Office Closure
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Choi Young-ho, a preliminary candidate for the Democratic Party of Korea in Gwangju Dongnam-gap, announced on the 4th regarding the confirmed case of the novel coronavirus infection (commonly known as Wuhan pneumonia) in the Gwangju area, “We will temporarily suspend visits from volunteers and supporters, leaving only essential personnel for the operation of the election office.”

He stated, “Although it is a regrettable situation as a candidate, I want to participate in overcoming the crisis as a citizen of Gwangju,” and continued, “If all citizens of Gwangju respond with one heart and one mind, I believe we will surely overcome the crisis and soon regain stability in our daily lives.”
He further said, “Although there will be disruptions in election campaigning due to restrictions on face-to-face external contact and minimal operation of the election office, I will meet and communicate with citizens through various methods using SNS, such as the listening tour on the YouTube channel Choi Young-ho TV and the Amu Nore challenge.”
