View original image[Asia Economy (Naepo) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Four residents of Chungnam Province who were self-isolating after contact with confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (Wuhan pneumonia) have been released from quarantine.
According to Chungnam Province on the 4th, these contacts were among 45 Koreans who had contact with the first confirmed novel coronavirus patient, and their self-isolation was lifted as of midnight on the same day.
So far, a total of 19 people in Chungnam have been self-isolating after contact with confirmed patients.
The province is currently monitoring 15 people excluding the 4 who have been released from self-isolation, and according to guidelines, quarantine measures will be gradually lifted for contacts who show no abnormal symptoms until the end of the quarantine period.
