Binggrae Launches 'Bunbastic' Campaign for Environmental Protection
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Seon-ae] Binggrae announced on the 4th that it will conduct the ‘Bunbastic (banana-flavored milk stick that makes separation and disposal easier) Campaign’ together with the global environmental company TerraCycle and Gimhae City to protect the environment.
The ‘Bunbastic Campaign’ was planned to promote the correct separation and disposal method of plastic containers and to increase the plastic recycling rate. The campaign runs from the 3rd to the 28th, and anyone can participate by simply putting empty banana-flavored milk bottles into the collection box installed in the civil service office at Gimhae City Hall. Participants will be provided with an upcycled wrap knife shaped like a banana-flavored milk bottle (Bunbastic) that helps easily separate labels, caps, and rings during plastic separation and disposal, along with a separation and disposal guide.
As part of the campaign, 100 Bunbastic packages will be delivered to up to 20 elementary schools located in Gimhae City. The school that collects the most plastic containers will receive Bunbastic packages for all students, and a tour of the Binggrae Gimhae factory will be offered as a prize. Participation registration is on a first-come, first-served basis via TerraCycle’s email or phone.
There is also a word-of-mouth event through social networking services (SNS). Among the participants, 100 people will receive a banana-flavored milk gifticon, and detailed information can be found on the campaign’s Instagram account.
