[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Jamin] Dongshin University (President) has canceled this year's entrance ceremony, graduation ceremony, and freshman orientation entirely due to concerns over the spread of the novel coronavirus infection.
According to Dongshin University on the 3rd, at a key executive meeting chaired by President Choi Il held on the same day, it was decided to cancel the '2020 Academic Year Freshman Entrance Ceremony' and 'Orientation' scheduled for the 27th.
Along with this, the 2019 Academic Year Degree Conferment Ceremony scheduled for the 21st was also canceled.
Degree certificates can be collected at the department offices, and for graduates who wish to take commemorative photos, academic caps and gowns (graduation gowns) will be rented out by each department.
