Yang Joon-il's Essay Breaking Pengsoo Diary Records... 1,500 Copies Sold in 10 Minutes of Pre-Order
[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Yeon-ju] Singer Yang Joon-il (51)'s essay is gaining popularity from pre-orders even before its official release.
On the 3rd, online bookstores such as Yes24 and Aladin began pre-orders for Yang Joon-il's essay 'Yang Joon-il MAYBE_ Your and My Code Word' (Mobidic Books).
This essay is Yang Joon-il's first book after appearing on JTBC's entertainment program 'Sugar Man 3' and successfully resuming activities after 19 years.
According to the book introduction page, it contains words of comfort, hope, and sincerity that Yang Joon-il offers to the world, as well as his thoughts that always head toward the light even in darkness. Photos of Yang Joon-il taken by photographer Kim Bo-ha of The Third Mind Studio are also included.
Yang Joon-il said at a press conference before a fan meeting last December, "I am currently writing a book. Many people are curious about what I am thinking. I thought it would be good to express and leave my thoughts in writing, so I prepared it."
According to Aladin, Yang Joon-il's book surpassed 1,500 copies sold within 10 minutes of starting pre-orders.
