Gwangju Gwangsan Fire Station: "Evacuate First in Case of Fire"
Distribution of Large 'Pictograms' in New Multi-Use Facilities
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Jamin] Gwangju Gwangsan Fire Station (Chief Moon Gisik) announced on the 3rd that it has distributed large pictograms indicating the location of emergency exits to newly established multi-use facilities.
The distribution of pictograms was promoted as part of winter fire safety measures to create a fire-safe environment.
Pictograms can be easily understood by the general public through simple pictorial symbols without special training, and their high visibility is expected to play an important role in reducing casualties caused by failure to locate exit doors.
