Kim Kang-lip, Vice Minister of Health and Welfare, stated at the Central Response Headquarters meeting on the 3rd, "Samples were collected from 326 asymptomatic returnees and comprehensive testing was conducted before arrival, all of which were negative."
The 7 symptomatic individuals who were tested first upon return also all tested negative the previous day. Therefore, all 333 passengers on the second charter flight tested negative.

The government plans to conduct up to two additional tests on the returnees. Vice Minister Kim said, "If symptoms appear while the returnees are staying at temporary living facilities, additional tests will be conducted, and a confirmation test will be done before discharge." Regarding the test conducted before discharge, he explained, "Since it is conducted after 14 days have passed since return, a negative result on this test will be considered the final negative judgment."
