Exploring Responses to the 'New Coronavirus' Using Science and Technology
[Asia Economy Reporter Junho Hwang] Heads of government-funded research institutes will gather in one place to prepare response measures for the novel coronavirus infection (Wuhan pneumonia) using science and technology.
The National Research Council of Science & Technology will hold a meeting of heads of government-funded research institutes under its jurisdiction at 5 p.m. on the 3rd at Didimdol Plaza, Korea Research Institute of Chemical Technology in Daejeon.
At the meeting, Dr. Daegyun Jeong of the Korea Research Institute of Bioscience and Biotechnology will present on the emergence and response to the novel virus, and Dr. Beomtae Kim of the Korea Research Institute of Chemical Technology will explain the current research status and strategies for responding to the novel virus.
