Vice Minister Cho expressed condolences to the victims of the novel coronavirus in China and said, "I hope this situation will be resolved quickly and smoothly," adding, "Our government will also provide necessary cooperation and support." In response, Ambassador Xing introduced the current status of the Chinese government's response to the novel coronavirus, including the Chinese leadership, and expressed gratitude for the support from the Korean side.
Following this, Vice Minister Cho expressed appreciation for China's cooperation regarding the repatriation support of Korean residents in Wuhan and requested continued cooperation in protecting Korean nationals in China. Ambassador Xing replied that he would communicate and cooperate closely with the Korean side.
