Baek Woonchan, chief spokesperson of the Democratic Party Ulsan City Party, stated at the Ulsan City Council Press Center on the morning of the 31st, "This investigation is an act of obstruction by the prosecution to prevent prosecutorial reform under the Moon Jae-in administration," and added, "We define the prosecution's mass indictments this time as politically motivated forced indictments."
He continued, "Although the overwhelming majority of the public desires prosecutorial reform, the opposition party is ignoring this and supporting the prosecution's maintenance of power," and raised his voice, saying, "The Liberty Korea Party should stop acting as a proxy party for the prosecution and unnecessary political strife, and quickly focus on the National Assembly for the safety and livelihood of the people."
