According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the 31st, Korean Air flight KE9884, carrying these passengers, took off from Wuhan Airport at 6:05 a.m. Korean time (5:05 a.m. local time) that day. The government rapid response team, which arrived at the airport on the 30th to assist with boarding, is also scheduled to return.
The departure time was later than originally planned. A government official stated, "After quarantine by Chinese authorities, the Korean side's quarantine process was conducted very thoroughly, which took a long time."
The charter flight is expected to arrive at Gimpo Airport after approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes of flight.
