New Coronavirus Case Found in Japan with No History of Visiting Wuhan
[Asia Economy Reporter Donghyun Choi] It has been confirmed that a person who has never visited Wuhan (武漢), China, the epicenter of the novel coronavirus infection (Wuhan pneumonia), was infected with the novel coronavirus in Japan.
According to NHK on the 28th, Katsunobu Kato (加藤勝信), Japan's Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare, announced at a Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare meeting that two new cases of novel coronavirus infection were confirmed in Japan. Among them, one is a man in his 60s who is a bus driver and has never stayed in China.
This driver reportedly transported travelers who came from Wuhan to Japan twice this month.
