[Asia Economy Reporter Donghyun Choi] The second domestic patient diagnosed with 'Wuhan pneumonia' was also infected with the coronavirus like the first patient, but has been confirmed to be in a stable condition without any significant pneumonia symptoms.
An official from the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC) stated on the 25th, "The second confirmed patient announced yesterday is currently hospitalized in a government-designated isolation ward and is receiving symptomatic treatment for other symptoms such as sore throat."
The second domestic patient is a 55-year-old Korean male. While working in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China, he developed cold symptoms starting on the 10th and received medical treatment at a local medical institution on the 19th. According to the KCDC, an X-ray examination of this man showed signs of bronchitis, and further tests will be conducted to assess any relation to pneumonia.

The first patient, a 35-year-old Chinese female, is also in a stable condition. She lived in Wuhan, China, and visited a local hospital on the 18th due to symptoms such as fever, chills, and muscle pain. Upon entering through Incheon Airport on the 19th for overseas travel, she was immediately quarantined at the inspection station after a fever was detected. However, she still has a fever, and a recent chest computed tomography (CT) scan showed signs of pneumonia. Despite this, the patient does not subjectively feel any pneumonia symptoms, and medical staff are closely monitoring her condition.
