North Korea Also Worried About Wuhan Pneumonia... Bans Entry of Its Citizens Departing from China
[Asia Economy Beijing=Special Correspondent Park Sun-mi] As the number of Wuhan pneumonia patients rapidly increases in China, North Korea appears to be strictly controlling entry into Pyongyang through China.
According to sources in Beijing on the 23rd, North Korea's Air Koryo has reportedly banned boarding on flights from Beijing to Pyongyang not only for foreigners including Chinese nationals but also for its own citizens. Air Koryo has not clearly disclosed the reasons behind the decision to ban foreign nationals from entering. However, it is interpreted as a measure to prevent infected individuals from entering North Korea via aircraft, given the rapid spread of Wuhan pneumonia in China.
