[Asia Economy Reporter Jin-gyu Lee] Pearl Abyss announced on the 23rd that Black Desert was selected as the 'Best Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (MMORPG) of 2020' in major countries in North America and Europe.
Black Desert was chosen in the 'Top 5 Best MMORPGs of 2020' announced by Germany's largest gaming webzine Mein-MMO. Black Desert was recognized as one of the MMORPGs that showed the best performance in 2019 alongside titles such as World of Warcraft, Final Fantasy XIV, and Guild Wars 2. Mein-MMO evaluated Black Desert as "an exotic model student who sets goals and achieves them one by one, making 2020 even more anticipated."
The US IT media TechSpot mentioned Black Desert as "one of the best sandbox MMOs of 2020."
Black Desert's popularity was also confirmed in Russia. It was selected as the 'Best MMORPG' at the 'GoHa Awards 2019' hosted by Russia's largest webzine GoHa.Ru.
