New semester sneakers, which were mainly released in February ahead of the new semester, have been launched earlier due to strong interest from the millennial generation.
The ugly shoes from Discovery, exclusively introduced first by Shinsegae Department Store, are popular sneakers that sold more than 200,000 pairs domestically last year amid great interest from customers in their 20s and 30s.
Shinsegae plans to showcase new semester and spring products one month earlier to capture demand not only from customers in their 20s and 30s but also from teenage students.
