[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunju Lee] The Seoul Metropolitan Government is operating a novel coronavirus quarantine task force 24 hours a day.
The city announced on the 22nd that it is operating a permanent emergency quarantine duty system in preparation for the Lunar New Year holiday and the Chinese Spring Festival.
Through close cooperation with medical institutions, they are verifying overseas travel history of visitors to check whether they have visited Wuhan City, China, and if suspicious symptoms are identified, they have requested prompt reporting to the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention or the relevant public health center.
The 25 public health centers are immediately operating screening clinics to prepare for the occurrence of suspected patients.
