2019 Public Institution Personal Information Management Level Diagnosis Result: Grade A Achieved
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seo Young-seo] On the 22nd, Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that it was evaluated as an 'institution that manages personal information protection well' with the highest grade of A in the 2019 Public Institution Personal Information Protection Management Level Diagnosis conducted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and KISA.
The Personal Information Protection Management Level Diagnosis is an evaluation conducted annually on 779 institutions including central government ministries, metropolitan, basic, and local public enterprises to diagnose the personal information protection management system and infringement prevention activities of public institutions, aiming to induce safe management of personal information and improvement of personal information protection levels.
Through this diagnosis, the county scored full marks in most items such as establishing and implementing personal information protection measures and infringement countermeasures. In particular, it received high scores for introducing a personal information processing access management system and conducting customized personal information protection education for public officials.
