Gwangju Seo-gu Conducts Basic Training for Participants in Disability Employment Program
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (Mayor Seo Daeseok) announced on the 21st that it conducted the '2020 Basic Training for Participants in the Disabled Employment Project' on the 20th for participants in disabled employment.
This training was conducted by inviting an instructor from the Gwangju Regional Headquarters of the Korea Employment Agency for the Disabled, focusing on actual cases.
The training consisted of job duties and professional etiquette that participants must know while working, guidelines for the disabled employment project, safety and health education, sexual harassment prevention education, and disability awareness improvement education.
This year, Seo-gu secured a budget of 1.49 billion KRW for four fields of disabled employment.
A total of 128 participants are performing tasks such as administrative assistance, environmental helper, and disabled parking guidance at administrative agencies, welfare facilities, and organizations within Seo-gu.
