This inspection was carried out to prevent safety accidents as the number of people returning to their hometowns via passenger ships and other mass transportation vessels increases during the holiday period.
On this day, Commissioner Kim visited the Yongam Ferry Terminal (Yongampo↔Saryangdo) in Goseong-gun, Gyeongnam Province, to check the safety management status and urged captains and operators to ensure safe navigation.
