Gyeonggi Institute of Economy and Science "Accepting Applications for Customized Corporate On-site Training"
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency is recruiting companies to participate in the '2020 Customized On-site Corporate Training' to strengthen the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
The customized on-site training is designed considering the reality that SMEs find it difficult to conduct various training programs on their own. It offers training courses tailored to the needs of individual companies and is operated directly by experts at the SME sites.
The customized training is freely conducted at the time and place desired by the company with the training courses they want. Last year, the Gyeonggi Economic Science Agency provided a total of 75 customized training sessions, producing 1,917 trainees.
Since 2014, the Gyeonggi Economic Science Agency has been conducting customized training for seven years targeting partner companies through an agreement with Yuhan-Kimberly.
The customized training covers not only ▲hierarchy and leadership ▲marketing and customer service (CS) ▲management strategy and planning fields but also any training courses requested by companies.
To encourage investment in education by SMEs, the Gyeonggi Economic Science Agency is introducing a 'tuition discount system' for the first time this year. Companies that operate customized training four or more times annually will receive a discount on tuition fees for that year, reducing the fee from the existing 2.4 million KRW per session to 1.8 million KRW.
Kim Ki-jun, director of the Gyeonggi Economic Science Agency, stated, "Education is not a choice but a necessity for corporate development and talent cultivation," adding, "We will continue to strengthen corporate innovation capabilities through customer-centered on-site customized training support."
