Gwacheon Knowledge Information Town 'Altoran' Land to be Sold in March
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeonggi Urban Innovation Corporation will launch the second sale of knowledge-based industrial sites in Gwacheon Knowledge Information Town this March.
The total sale area amounts to 44,000㎡ across six sites, including small-scale (3,148㎡) and medium-scale (14,000㎡) plots. Notably, one site is designated as an industry-academia cooperation site linked with companies and university industry-academia cooperation groups to strategically attract investment projects in the information and communication (IT) and pharmaceutical sectors.
Additionally, small-scale sites will be given priority allocation to small and medium-sized enterprises.
The sales schedule proceeds as follows: announcement of sale at the end of March, submission of letters of intent from interested companies in April, submission and evaluation of business plans by the end of June, and final confirmation of sale recipients followed by negotiations in July. Companies that secure sites can commence construction after July.
Gwacheon Knowledge Information Town is a project implemented by Gwacheon City, and through the first land sale, a total of 77 advanced companies and research institutes, including Netmarble, Kolon Global, JW Pharmaceutical, and KOTITI Testing & Research Institute, have decided to move in.
