The Korea Federation of Banks announced on the 19th that each bank will operate mobile and flexible branches to assist customers who find it difficult to visit regular branches during the Lunar New Year holiday period.
For the convenience of returning travelers and other customers, 14 mobile branches will be operated at highway rest areas and train stations, providing services such as deposits, withdrawals, and new bill exchanges.
By bank, Shinhan Bank will operate at Hwaseong Rest Area (towards Mokpo) on the Seohaean Expressway from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the 23rd and 24th, and during the same period, KEB Hana Bank will operate at Yongin Rest Area (towards Gangneung) on the Yeongdong Expressway from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
At major airports such as Incheon International Airport, Gimpo Airport, and Gimhae Airport, as well as Seoul Station and areas densely populated by foreign workers, 10 banks will operate 33 flexible branches. Services such as deposits, withdrawals, remittances, and currency exchange will be provided.
