Yang Hyang-ja Preliminary Candidate Conducts Lunar New Year Cleaning in Geumho 1-dong
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Yang Hyangja, a preliminary candidate of the Democratic Party for the National Assembly election in Seo-gu (Eul), Gwangju Metropolitan City, conducted a New Year's cleaning event on the 15th with about 40 residents of Geumho 1-dong in attendance.
Hosted by the 'Geumho 1-dong Nanum愛 Happiness Village,' from 8:30 a.m., Candidate Yang personally took tongs and cleaned various streets near the Geumho-dong food alley, engaging with citizens.
Candidate Yang stated, "Ahead of the Lunar New Year, I took to street cleaning with a clean mindset," adding, "I pledged to practice clean politics while thoroughly cleaning the Geumho-dong area."
