Fire at a Temple in Sacheon-si, Gyeongnam... Temple Lodging Burns Down

View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Ju Cheol-in] At around 12:25 PM on the 15th, a fire broke out at a temple located in Jeongdong-myeon, Sacheon-si, Gyeongnam.
The fire burned approximately 165㎡ inside the temple, causing property damage estimated at 20 million KRW (according to the fire station).
At the time of the fire, two people were inside the temple but they evacuated quickly, resulting in no casualties.
The fire was extinguished at around 2:10 PM by 119 firefighters who responded to the report.

The fire authorities suspect that the fire started in the yosachae (residential quarters where monks live) and are investigating the exact cause of the fire.
