CPR Training Conducted for Over 1,400 Real Estate Professionals Through December
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Gwangjin-gu (District Mayor Kim Seon-gap) conducted a 'Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Life Safety Education' for real estate agents at the Gwangjin-gu Civil Defense Training Education Center on the 15th.
This education was prepared to improve the initial response ability and management skills in emergency and disaster situations for about 1,400 real estate-related personnel, including representatives and workers of real estate agencies in the region.
The training started on the 8th and will be conducted in sessions until December. The curriculum includes CPR theory and practice, Heimlich maneuver for airway obstruction, use of automated external defibrillators, fire suppression, and earthquake experience.
One participant who completed the training said, "Through the education, I learned that pre-CPR response methods are also important, and it was good to learn how to use an automated external defibrillator." He added, "I hope that real estate agents will participate more actively in the local community and create a society where people help each other."
Additionally, to prevent disadvantages during brokerage work, prior guidance and precautions regarding the revised real estate-related laws effective from 2020 are also provided during the education.
