The county supports incentives for travel agencies that attract group tourists of 20 or more domestic tourists, 10 or more foreign tourists, or school trip groups.
This year, the support criteria and amounts will be subdivided by regions such as the Chedo area and island regions, day trips and one-night stays, peak and off-peak seasons, and the support will be expanded from a minimum of 10,000 KRW to a maximum of 20,000 KRW per person for domestic and international group tourists.
The support amount has been increased by about 43% compared to 2019.
The county expects that this incentive system will maximize the creation of tourism demand not only for representative tourist spots such as Wando Tower, Jangbogo Memorial Hall, Marine Ecology Exhibition Hall, Wando Arboretum, Fishing Village Folk Exhibition Hall, and Cheonghae Port Set, but also for hidden attractions throughout Wando.
