Cha Se-jji, Son of Cha Bum-geun, Sent to Prosecution for 'Drunk Driving Accident'
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bong-gi] Cha Se-jji (34), son of former national soccer team coach Cha Bum-kun, who caused a traffic accident while driving under the influence last year, has been handed over to the prosecution.
On the 15th, the Jongno Police Station in Seoul announced that they had recently sent Cha to the prosecution with a recommendation for indictment on charges including violation of the Road Traffic Act.
Cha is accused of colliding with a car ahead while driving his own vehicle on a road in front of a restaurant in Jongno-gu, Seoul, at around 11:40 PM on December 23 last year.
