'Son Heung-min Substituted In' Tottenham Wins 2-1 in Replay Against Middlesbrough... Advances to FA Cup Round of 32

[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Sung-yeol] Tottenham Hotspur, with Son Heung-min coming on as a substitute, won 2-1 against Middlesbrough in the replay.

On the 15th (Korean time), Tottenham defeated Middlesbrough 2-1 in the 2019-20 English FA Cup 3rd round (Round of 64) replay at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, England.

With this victory, Tottenham will play an away match against Southampton in the 4th round at midnight on the 26th.

Tottenham's manager Mourinho rested Son Heung-min and Alli by leaving them out of the starting lineup and bringing them on as substitutes, aiming to manage the stamina of the attacking line.

Tottenham took the lead from the start of the match.

In the 1st minute of the first half, Tottenham's Lo Celso took advantage of a pass mistake by Middlesbrough goalkeeper Mejias, dribbled from the right side of the penalty box toward the center, and then scored with a clean left-footed shot.

In the 14th minute of the first half, Lamela intercepted the ball from the defense, broke through, and scored an additional goal with a slightly angled left-footed shot while dribbling.

Having gained momentum, Tottenham continued to press Middlesbrough's goal with shots from Tanganga and Moura but without success.

The flow of the game continued in Tottenham's favor in the second half.

At the 15th minute of the second half, manager Mourinho substituted Moura for Son Heung-min, who led the attack in place of Moura.

In the 37th minute of the second half, Saville received a cross from a defender and scored a consolation goal with a right-footed mid-range shot in front of Tanganga.
