Changwon City Provides 67 Billion KRW Support for Customized Business Assistance Programs
Full-Scale Operations Launched for 84 Projects in 8 Sectors
1.5 Billion KRW Invested in 7 Policies to Resolve Corporate Difficulties
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Son Tae-seok] Changwon City, Gyeongnam, will actively continue its 'Customized Support Project for Businesses' this year to create a business-friendly city.
This year, a total project budget of 67 billion KRW will be invested in 84 policies across 8 areas, including resolving business difficulties, labor welfare support, workforce and jobs, funding and financial support, manufacturing innovation and technology development, startup support, market expansion support, and research and development.
Looking at the project details by sector, 7 policies and 1.5 billion KRW are allocated to the business difficulties resolution sector. The labor welfare support sector will receive 6 policies with 1.4 billion KRW.
In the workforce and jobs sector, 9.7 billion KRW will be spent on 20 policies, implementing 12 projects such as the Gyeongnam Startup Youth Employment Linkage and Gyeongnam Small and Medium Enterprises Youth Vitality Project, and providing job opportunities to youth and middle-aged job seekers through 8 projects including operation of job centers and employment success vocational training for middle-aged and older adults.
Additionally, projects will be carried out in the funding and financial support sector (9 policies, 20.3 billion KRW), manufacturing innovation and technology development sector (13 policies, 25.4 billion KRW), startup support sector (7 policies, 1.7 billion KRW), market expansion support sector (16 policies, 1.7 billion KRW), and research and development (R&D) sector (6 policies, 5.3 billion KRW).
