Hanacard Forms Strategic Partnership with Taiwan Online Accommodation Booking Platform 'AsiaYo'
When Paying with Hana Card 'Global Must-Have'
10% Discount in Taiwan, 7% Discount in Other Countries

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] Hana Card announced on the 13th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for a strategic partnership with AsiaYo, Taiwan's largest online accommodation booking platform.
Through this agreement, when booking or paying for accommodations on AsiaYo using Hana Card via 'Global Must-Have,' Hana Card's overseas travel specialized mobile platform, customers can receive a 10% discount in Taiwan and a 7% discount in Japan, Thailand, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, and Korea.
In the first half of this year, Hana Card plans to offer additional benefits to Hana Card customers traveling to Taiwan through linked partnerships with AsiaYo's Taiwanese partners such as Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Department Store, drugstore Cosmed, and Taipei 101.
To commemorate this partnership, an event will also be held. Until the end of April, customers who apply for the 'AsiaYo Partnership Special Benefits' event on the Hana Card website, mobile app, OneQ Pay app, or Global Must-Have and make a reservation or payment of 100,000 KRW or more will receive 5% of the payment amount credited as Hana Money (up to 15,000 money). Additionally, 40 selected participants will be awarded two free passes for 'The Lounge Members,' which can be used at over 1,200 airport lounges worldwide through a separate draw.
Han Kyung-ho, Head of Global & New Growth Business Division at Hana Card, said, "By connecting customers and partners directly through Global Must-Have, customers can use necessary services from departure to return at reasonable prices, and partners can increase sales and promotional effects targeting Hana Card customers. We plan to continuously expand domestic and international partnerships to enhance customer satisfaction and convenience."

Meanwhile, AsiaYo has been prominent in the BnB (Bed and Breakfast) online accommodation industry in Taiwan and Japan and entered the Korean market in August 2018 based on this. Currently, AsiaYo has partnerships with about 70,000 accommodations in major Asian countries (Taiwan, Japan, Thailand, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Korea).
