Kang Jaeyoung, CEO of Mangrove Artworks, Appointed Artistic Director of Korea Craft Exhibition
The Korea Craft and Design Foundation announced on the 9th that Kang Jaeyoung, CEO of Mangrove Artworks, has been appointed as the artistic director of the Korean Craft Exhibition at the upcoming Milan Design Week in April. Director Kang is an expert in craft exhibition planning who has carried out cross-genre exchange projects in art, craft, and design. He previously worked as a curator at the Whanki Museum and served as the head curator at the Gyeonggi Ceramic Foundation. At this Milan Design Week, he will organize the Korean Craft Exhibition under the theme "Korean Craft, the Scent of the Five Senses and Colors." He stated, "I will showcase the restrained aesthetics of Korean craft through synesthetic elements such as auditory and olfactory senses."
