[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] Chinese Vice Premier Liu He will lead a Chinese delegation to Washington from the 13th to the 15th to sign the US-China Phase One trade agreement.
Gao Feng, spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, stated at a regular briefing on the 9th, "Both negotiating teams are closely communicating on the specific preparations for signing the agreement."
This is the first time the Chinese side has confirmed the signing ceremony after US President Donald Trump said it would take place on the 15th. President Trump also said that after signing the Phase One agreement, he would visit Beijing for Phase Two negotiations.

Last month, both the US and China agreed that the US would not impose new additional tariffs on China and would reduce some tariffs, while China agreed to increase purchases of US agricultural products.
