Go Min-jung, spokesperson for the Blue House, explained, "Since the current situation requires a close examination of its impact on the overall economy, including oil prices, Deputy Prime Minister Hong and Minister Sung are also scheduled to attend," adding, "Although the NSC Standing Committee was held earlier this week, there is a need to reassess the impact of the Iran issue on the overall economy and to check the safety of local Korean residents, so the Standing Committee is being convened once again."
