Jeonnam Private Daycare Association, Warm Support for Neighbors in Need
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Jamin] Jeonnam Province announced on the 9th that the Jeonnam Private Daycare Center Association (President Jeong Heesook) has donated sponsorship funds to help lonely and marginalized neighbors.
This is the third year that the Jeonnam Private Daycare Center Association has delivered sponsorship funds.
They donated 13 million won to the Green Umbrella Children's Foundation, which conducts domestic and international child welfare projects, and 3 million won each to three single-parent facilities and the Suncheon Green Umbrella Happiness Center.
The sponsorship funds were raised collectively by 364 private daycare center directors, childcare staff, parents, and infants and toddlers among the 1,147 daycare centers in the Jeonnam area.
A director of a private daycare center who participated in the event said, "Although it is a small contribution, I am glad and happy to be able to help our neighbors in need," and added, "I plan to continue practicing sharing in the future."
