Gwangju Geumho Lifelong Education Center 'Remodeling Completed' Officially Reopened
Improvement of Classroom Environment and Establishment of Laptop Reading Room
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] The Gwangju Metropolitan Office of Education announced on the 9th that Kumho Lifelong Education Center has completed remodeling and officially reopened.
Since its establishment in 1996, Kumho Lifelong Education Center has been loved by many local residents, but after 23 years, the facilities and environment had become outdated.
To improve the environment of the reading room and reference room, a remodeling and space reorganization TFT for the education center has been operating since the second half of 2018.
To create an optimal environment suitable for the characteristics of the library and lifelong education center, it was temporarily closed from November 12 last year and full-scale remodeling began.
A heated ondol room for children was newly established, and the comprehensive reference room, general and disabled reading rooms, and lifelong learning classrooms were improved.
In particular, the lifelong learning classrooms were expanded to increase the middle school academic recognition courses. A laptop reading room was also newly established to meet changes in users and informatization trends.
