Police Send Three Men in Their 20s to Prosecution for Group Assault at Club
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] Three men who fatally assaulted another customer after a dispute at a nightclub during late-night hours have been referred to the prosecution.
The Seoul Gwangjin Police Station announced on the 9th that they have sent three men in their 20s, all Taekwondo black belts, to the prosecution with charges of injury resulting in death.
They are accused of getting into an altercation with a male victim in his 20s at a club in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, around 3 a.m. on the 1st, then going outside and collectively assaulting him, causing his death. The suspects majored in Taekwondo at university, and some are known to have participated in the national Taekwondo team selection trials.
