Gimpo Daycare Commuting Vehicle Falls Under Bridge... 9 Children Sustain No Serious Injuries

According to the Gimpo Police Station, at around 5:30 PM on the 7th, a daycare center shuttle bus collided with a 1-ton truck on a road in Seoam-ri, Tongjin-eup, Gimpo, and then fell into an irrigation canal under a bridge.
As a result of the accident, the shuttle bus driver A (63), a daycare teacher B (24), and nine children on board were injured, totaling 11 people. However, all were discharged on the same day after receiving treatment at the hospital.
All the children were wearing seat belts, so it was confirmed that they were not seriously injured.
At the time of the accident, the shuttle bus was heading from Dongulsan-ri, Tongjin-eup toward Haseong-myeon, and the truck was heading from Gwijeon-ri, Tongjin-eup toward Dosari when they collided in the middle of an intersection.
The police believe that the shuttle bus was pushed toward the bridge right next to the intersection due to the impact of the collision and then fell.
