20 SK Innovation Executives Hold First 2020 Strategy Meeting at CES Venue
On the 7th (local time), SK Innovation's President Kim Jun and other key executives held a strategic meeting at CES to explore growth plans through innovative advancements in the future E-mobility industry.

At CES, Kim Jun, President and CEO of SK Innovation, and key executives gathered on-site to devise strategies for growth through innovative development of the future E-mobility industry.
More than 20 SK Innovation executives held a strategy meeting on the 7th (local time) at CES 2020 in Las Vegas, USA, to discuss growth plans. This was the first strategy meeting held this year, taking place at CES, a battleground for cutting-edge technology.
Attending CES 2020 were Kim Jun, President and CEO of SK Innovation; Ji Dong-seop, Head of Battery Business; Noh Jae-seok, President of SK IE Technology; Kim Cheol-jung, Head of Strategy Division; along with executives from strategy, research and development, and marketing. The purpose was to explore growth directions based on SK Innovation’s state-of-the-art technology in the E-mobility sector, which SK Innovation is focusing on as a future growth business.
SK Innovation executives shared major technology trends revealed at CES 2020 and discussed future growth directions. In particular, they agreed to accelerate the growth of the 'SK Inside' model, which is fundamental to innovation in the E-mobility industry unveiled at this CES.
At CES 2020, SK Innovation, together with its subsidiaries SK Global Chemical, SK Lubricants, and SK IE Technology, unveiled and exhibited the 'SK Inside' model?a package combining cutting-edge batteries, ultra-lightweight and eco-friendly materials, and various lubricant products essential for innovation in future E-mobility.
At the strategy meeting, President Kim Jun said, "This year’s CES confirmed firsthand that future technologies, especially those in the E-mobility sector we aim for, are advancing at a pace beyond our expectations," adding, "We also confirmed that as the evolution of the E-mobility industry accelerates, the industries applying it are expanding."
He continued, "This rapid evolution of E-mobility presents a very important growth opportunity for SK Innovation, but if we fail to stay ahead of this pace, it will become a major crisis for us," urging acceleration of deep change.

He further stated, "The core mobility components such as batteries and cutting-edge materials that SK Innovation and its business subsidiaries have developed will serve as a catalyst for E-mobility innovation," adding, "Now is the time to speed up and advance E-mobility innovation based on this so that it leads to customer innovation."
