The Korea Employers Federation's Senior Job Hope Center announced on the 8th the results of the "2019 Senior Job Seeking Activity Survey," conducted over 15 days from November 27 last year, targeting 352 job seekers aged 40 and above.

The breakdown was: 1 to less than 2 years (21.9%), 6 months to less than 1 year (21.3%), 3 to less than 6 months (14.2%), and more than 5 years (7.7%). Seniors cited the biggest difficulties in job seeking as "lack of demand for senior hiring" and "a culture that emphasizes age."
