Kim Jong-gyu, Director of Samsung Publishing Museum, Wins Dasan Dain Award Grand Prize
Dasan Research Institute announced on the 7th that it has selected Kim Jong-gyu, director of the Samsung Publishing Museum, as the grand prize winner of this year's Dasan Dain Award. Director Kim expressed, "I think my sincere love for tea, free from selfishness, has brought me closer to tea year after year," and added, "I will cherish tea even more with dignity and a sense of mission." The Dasan Dain Award was established to widely honor the tea spirit of Dasan Jeong Yak-yong. It is given to individuals and organizations who have contributed to the development of tea culture. The merit award will be presented to the late playwright Kim Bong-ho and Shin Un-hak, director of Hwajeong Daryewon. The award ceremony will be held on the 11th at Dasan Hall, Gyeonggi Cultural Foundation.
